Job Description

As a Home Health Aide at Care Companions Ltd., you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in their homes. Your role will involve supporting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients in activities of daily living, promoting their independence.
  • Create a positive and supportive atmosphere for clients.
  • Ensure clients follow their care plans and health routines.
  • Coordinate transportation for clients for appointments or errands.
  • Respond promptly to clients’ needs and emergencies.
  • Document care activities and client progress in care logs.
  • Support families by providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss client care and improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is desirable.
