Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting public health initiatives, evaluating health programs, and collaborating with local communities to improve health outcomes. You will be responsible for analyzing health data, developing strategies to enhance community awareness, and implementing health promotion activities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison with local health agencies to coordinate public health efforts.
  • Lead community outreach programs to promote healthy living.
  • Research current public health trends and best practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals to secure funding for health projects.
  • Organize health fairs and community workshops to educate the public.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Science, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health roles, with a focus on community health initiatives
