We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and developing innovative engineering solutions, ensuring project efficiency and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions.
• Evaluate the mechanical performance of existing products and suggest upgrades.
• Work on cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality components are sourced.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engineering trends and technologies.
• Document and maintain design revisions and updates in project files.
• Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure product reliability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Project Management

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
