Job Description

A Trip Motor Operator plays a crucial role in the oil and gas industry by operating and maintaining the machinery used to drill wells. This position requires a keen understanding of drilling operations, the ability to make adjustments as needed, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead drilling operations, ensuring machinery is operating optimally.
  • Prioritise safety measures and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with the drilling team for effective communication.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of drilling equipment.
  • Document and report any issues during the drilling process.
  • Mentor and train junior operators on machinery operation.
  • Assist in logistics for drilling locations and equipment transport.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant engineering degree or certification preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Hydraulic systems knowledge

Languages
