Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Health Support Specialist (HSS) to join our caring and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing administrative support that facilitates exceptional patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Support patient care by managing appointments and ensuring records are updated.
Collaborate with medical staff to effectively communicate patient information.
Act as the first point of contact for patient inquiries and assist accordingly.
Prepare medical supplies and track inventory efficiently.
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
Assist in the administration of patient care plans.
Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation.
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care initiatives.
Assist with training new staff on administrative processes.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in healthcare administration is highly desirable
Experience
1-2 years in a similar healthcare role
