Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Health Support Specialist (HSS) to join our caring and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing administrative support that facilitates exceptional patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support patient care by managing appointments and ensuring records are updated.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to effectively communicate patient information.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patient inquiries and assist accordingly.
  • Prepare medical supplies and track inventory efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  • Assist in the administration of patient care plans.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care initiatives.
  • Assist with training new staff on administrative processes.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in healthcare administration is highly desirable
Experience
  • 1-2 years in a similar healthcare role
