Job Description
As a Solar Thermal Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar thermal systems on both residential and commercial properties. A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, paired with a passion for renewable energy, is essential for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Install thermal energy systems efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor system performance and perform necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support to team members and clients.
  • Assist in the development of project plans and timelines.
  • Oversee installation crews and ensure quality control.
  • Conduct site assessments prior to installation.
  • Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Document installation processes for reporting and compliance.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Nationally-recognised certification in solar PV installation (e.g. NABCEP)
  • Electrical wiring and circuitry Experience in designing and implementing electrical systems.
  • Renewable energy technology Familiar with solar thermal and photovoltaic systems.
  • Mechanical installation Proficient in installing and maintaining mechanical equipment.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting Ability to identify and solve complex issues efficiently.
  • Communication and customer service Skilled in engaging clients and providing excellent service.
  • Time management Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Teamwork and collaboration Experience working in collaborative team environments.
  • NABCEP Certified PV Installer
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with battery storage systems: Hands-on knowledge in managing energy storage solutions.
  • Experience with building energy efficiency measures: Knowledge of energy-saving solutions in residential and commercial properties.
