Job Description

We are seeking a Cyber Risk Specialist to join our dynamic team in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing cyber risks, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will play a key role in safeguarding sensitive information and mitigating potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current security measures and propose enhancements to address identified gaps.
• Engage in continuous improvement of security frameworks to align with industry standards.
• Design and enforce access controls and authentication measures.
• Coordinate with legal teams to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Participate in security awareness campaigns and phishing simulations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on cybersecurity risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related disciplines
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role

Technical Skills

• Vulnerability Management
• Knowledge of GDPR regulations

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
