Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Structural Metal Fabricator and Fitter to join our dedicated team in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and fitting, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of work plans and schedules.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve fabrication issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials and work performed.
  • Adhere to environmental policies during all fabrication processes.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in shipfitting
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in shipfitting or a related field
