Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. This role involves collaborating with software developers and IT staff to manage code releases, automate processes, and ensure the reliability and robustness of our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend new DevOps tools and technologies.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our cloud services.
  • Develop scripts for automating tasks such as backups and monitoring.
  • Support the software development lifecycle from development to deployment.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on best practices.
  • Participate in on-call duties for system monitoring and response.
  • Collaborate on agile project teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Master's degree in related field preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role
Technical Skills
  • Terraform
  • Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Scripting languages (Bash, Python)
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
Languages
