Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Portfolio Risk Manager to join our team in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of investment strategies and risk assessment frameworks, and will be responsible for managing and mitigating financial risks associated with our investment activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk measurement initiatives, utilising advanced risk analytics tools.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure alignment on risk management objectives.
• Develop and refine risk reporting processes to enhance transparency and accountability.
• Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate portfolio resilience.
• Represent the risk management function in cross-departmental projects.
• Contribute to the creation of risk policies and the oversight of their implementation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Master’s in Finance or a professional certification such as Actuary is an advantage

Experience

• 6+ years of relevant experience in investment risk management
