We are currently seeking an experienced Audit Team Leader to guide our audit team in Cambridge. In this role, you will oversee audit assignments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while developing effective audit strategies.
Responsibilities
Manage the audit team and allocate resources for audit assignments.
Conduct performance reviews of audit staff and provide feedback.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
Design training sessions to enhance the skillset of the audit team.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
Participate in strategic planning for the audit department.
Ensure timely completion of audit reports and documentation.
Implement risk assessment strategies in audit planning.
Develop key performance indicators for the audit team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Master's degree in Finance or relevant qualification is an advantage
Experience
5+ years of progressive audit experience, including supervisory roles
