Engineering Solutions Ltd. is on the lookout for a talented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. The selected candidate will be involved in a range of projects from initial design through to final construction, ensuring all structures are safe and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing structures and recommend repairs or modifications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in structural engineering.
• Prepare reports on project progress and findings.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience, especially within the UK construction industry

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Knowledge of British Standards

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Registered Engineer with the Institution of Structural Engineers

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with sustainable design practices: Knowledge of environmentally-friendly design techniques.
• Familiarity with Structural Steel design: Experience working with steel structures and frameworks.
