Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Sheffield team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and implementing mechanical systems. You'll work closely with a dynamic team, focusing on delivering high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from conception through to execution.
• Optimise manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality output.
• Develop project schedules and ensure objectives are met.
• Facilitate training sessions on new technologies and processes.
• Implement efficient project management techniques to enhance productivity.
• Participate in problem-solving workshops to overcome engineering challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced qualifications in engineering management are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in a managerial position

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in process optimisation: Experience in improving efficiency in mechanical processes.
• Familiarity with Robotics Engineering: Knowledge of robotic systems and their applications.
