We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our dedicated team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing projects that promote sustainable practices. A strong understanding of environmental regulations and engineering principles is essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate sites for environmental impact and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Design and manage projects related to pollution control and sustainable practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental management issues.
  • Conduct field surveys and data collection to support environmental studies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and teams.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training for staff on environmental protocols.
  • Engage with local communities to promote environmental awareness and initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Environmental Impact Assessment Proficient in conducting and managing environmental impact assessments.
  • Regulatory Compliance Strong understanding of UK environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Project Management Experienced in managing environmental projects from conception to completion.
  • Sustainability Practices Knowledgeable in sustainable engineering practices.
  • Communication Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Problem-solving Skilled in identifying problems and developing effective solutions.
  • Team Collaboration Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng)
  • Environmental Professional Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in Climate Change Mitigation: Experience in developing strategies and initiatives for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
  • Background in Renewable Energy Solutions: Knowledge of sustainable energy solutions and technologies.
