Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Flight Safety Officer to oversee and enhance safety standards within our operations in Huddersfield. The role entails assessing safety protocols, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations to maintain the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess safety practices and compliance within the organisation.
  • Coordinate with external safety auditors during inspections.
  • Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
  • Facilitate safety meetings and workshops for team discussions.
  • Support incident investigations and draft incident reports.
  • Stay updated with changes in aviation safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or similar field
  • Master's degree in relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in aviation safety or regulatory compliance
