Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in providing support to physicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. You will assist in patient examinations, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in patient examinations and document vital signs and symptoms accurately.
  • Prepare treatment areas by ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Administer prescribed injections and medications according to physician instructions.
  • Carry out laboratory tests and manage specimen collection procedures.
  • Provide support during surgical procedures and monitor patients post-operation.
  • Keep detailed records of patient interactions and treatment progress.
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up consultations.
  • Guide patients on medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes.
  • Manage insurance claims and billing procedures.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred
Experience
  • Experience working in a clinical setting is an advantage.
