Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Animal Breeder (Aviculturist) to manage the care and breeding of various bird species. Your role will encompass ensuring their health, maintaining habitats, and contributing to public education about avian welfare.
Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive bird care programmes.
Conduct health assessments and provide necessary care.
Develop nutrition plans tailored to different avian species.
Engage in habitat maintenance and bird enrichment activities.
Collaborate on educational initiatives for visitors.
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
Keep updated records and documentation for all birds.
Participate in conservation and research efforts.
Requirements
Education
Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
Experience in specific avian species care is advantageous.
