Responsibilities

• Support the veterinary team during consultations and procedures.
• Help monitor animal patients pre and post-operation.
• Assist in the administration of vaccinations and treatments.
• Educate pet owners on proper care and nutrition.
• Handle and restrain animals during examinations.

Requirements

Education

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Animal Care or Veterinary Nursing

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary or animal care environment

Technical Skills

• Animal Handling
• Basic Veterinary Procedures

• Compassion

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of animal behaviour: Understanding animal behaviour to assist in handling and care.
• Experience in customer service: Prior experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in a veterinary setting.
