Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The Medical Receptionist will manage patient appointments, provide excellent customer service, and ensure the smooth operation of the reception area.
Responsibilities
Providing a friendly and professional welcome to patients entering the facility.
Overseeing the appointment calendar and ensuring patients are seen promptly.
Collecting and verifying patient data, including consent and insurance details.
Answering phone calls professionally and responding to various patient needs.
Engaging in record-keeping and management to comply with healthcare standards.
Ensuring that reception and waiting areas are clean and well-maintained.
Handling complaints proficiently and liaising with relevant departments.
Facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Adhering to regulations regarding patient privacy and data protection.
Contributing to the overall efficiency of the administrative team.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in Medical Administration is a plus
Experience
Experience in customer service or healthcare settings is advantageous.
