Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Brighton. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues while providing exceptional care to our furry patients. This role requires a compassionate professional dedicated to animal welfare and possessing strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess animal health and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Administer treatment plans and medications.
  • Perform routine and emergency surgeries.
  • Guide pet owners in animal husbandry and wellness.
  • Manage and assist in the surgery room procedures.
  • Work closely with the nursing team to ensure high standards of care.
  • Participate in continuing education to keep up-to-date.
  • Contribute to the development of practice protocols.
  • Foster a caring and compassionate environment for patients and clients.
  • Assist in the management of clinic operations as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
