Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cognitive Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide therapy and support to individuals dealing with various cognitive disorders, utilising evidence-based interventions to foster recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose cognitive disorders in clients.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating cognitive-behavioural techniques.
  • Offer therapy sessions that are both individual and group-based.
  • Assess patient progress and modify treatment approaches as needed.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers for holistic care.
  • Document all client interactions and updates in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills.
  • Advocate for client needs within the healthcare system.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Licensure or certification as a Cognitive Therapist
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cognitive Therapist or in a related role

Certifications
