Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cutting Machine Operator to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining cutting machines to produce high-quality output. Attention to detail and precision are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cutting machines to ensure precise cutting of textiles according to specifications.
• Inspect materials pre- and post-cutting to detect defects.
• Adjust machine settings for optimum performance.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to understand cutting requirements.
• Report any malfunctions to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operations.
• Keep accurate records of production data.
• Perform maintenance tasks and resolve minor technical issues.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment to meet production targets.

Requirements

Education

• No specific qualifications required, but relevant training or certifications would be advantageous.

Experience

• Prior experience operating cutting machines in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
