Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our Glasgow veterinary team, where you'll deliver top-notch medical care to a variety of pets. Your expertise will directly impact the health and happiness of our patients. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you'll perform routine surgeries and diagnostics, develop treatment plans, and educate pet owners about health care.

Responsibilities

  • Administer vaccinations and preventive treatments.
  • Provide emergency care to injured or critically ill animals.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and care in the clinic.
  • Organize and conduct educational workshops for pet owners.
  • Evaluate and monitor the progress of treatments.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and culture.
  • Report and document all medical cases accurately.
  • Participate in veterinary community events.
  • Stay abreast of veterinary trends and continuing education.

Requirements

Education
  • Veterinary Medicine Degree
  • Specialist qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 3 years of experience in a veterinary setting, with surgical experience preferred
