The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our database systems, ensuring optimal performance, and safeguarding data integrity. Responsibilities

• Manage user access and security permissions for databases.
• Evaluate and implement new database technologies.
• Assist in the migration of databases to cloud environments.
• Train junior staff on best practices in database management.
• Document and maintain database procedures and policies.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Coordinate with system administrators for hardware upgrades.
• Provide support for database-related incidents and outages.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and management

• Knowledge of NoSQL Databases: Familiarity with NoSQL database systems such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
