We're on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dedicated team in Edinburgh. This role involves developing and implementing effective security measures to safeguard sensitive information and systems. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement advanced security solutions like firewalls and encryption.
• Conduct security audits and penetration testing.
• Review and update security policies regularly.
• Participate in strategic planning for security initiatives.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on security concerns.
• Document all security incidents and maintain logs.
• Assist in incident response and remediation efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting

Certifications

• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
• CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)

Languages

• English: Fluent
