Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated Extracorporeal Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining essential medical devices, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring optimal operation during critical procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and calibration of extracorporeal devices used in cardiac and renal procedures.
  • Educate patients on the procedures and what to expect during treatment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Respond promptly to malfunctions and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Document and report any equipment failures or issues to the management.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as an Extracorporeal Technician is preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working with extracorporeal devices or similar medical equipment.

Advantageous

  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting: Experience working in a medical environment preferred.
  • Additional certifications in related areas, such as cardiac technology: Knowledge in handling cardiac-specific equipment is a plus.
  • Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation): Hands-on experience with ECMO procedures is highly desirable.
