Job Description

Join our team in London as a Structural Iron and Steel Worker. Your expertise in iron and steel construction will be key to our projects. You'll work closely with engineers and other tradespeople, ensuring that all steel structures are installed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly and installation of steel structures in compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects on project requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Train new employees on safety protocols and best practices.
• Manage materials and stock inventory to optimize workflow.
• Monitor work progress and report to the Site Supervisor.
• Participate in safety meetings and provide input on site improvement.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in construction trades is highly regarded

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in steel construction

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Reading
• Safety Protocols

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
