Job Description

We are seeking a Healthcare Administrator in Manchester to manage daily operations and support healthcare delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical staff, ensuring efficient administrative processes and enhancing patient experiences. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing medical records, and liaising with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the scheduling of patient appointments and management of healthcare staff calendars.
  • Ensure that patient records are accurately maintained and in compliance with health regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff to ensure timely care.
  • Assist in financial administration, processing invoices and managing expense reports.
  • Monitor office supplies and ensure availability for operational needs.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline administrative processes.
  • Support compliance with health and safety standards within the facility.
  • Help design and implement training programs for administrative staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information according to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Engage in regular meetings with healthcare teams to discuss workflow improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare administration or related field
