Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Geropsychologist to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate cognitive abilities, emotional functioning, and mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
  • Address issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders.
  • Utilise effective coping strategies with clients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate records of client assessment and treatment progress.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
  • Contribute to research initiatives aimed at improving geropsychological practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
  • Full registration and license to practice as a Psychologist in the UK
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience focusing on geriatric populations.
