Job Description

Join our dynamic forestry team as a Production Worker. You will operate log bunching and other machinery while collaborating with fellow team members to ensure a productive and safe work environment. Your contributions will support our commitment to sustainable forestry practices.

Responsibilities

• Gather, sort, and stack logs using a log buncher as required.
• Provide support in maintaining machinery to ensure efficient operations.
• Identify and report safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Collaborate with the logging crew to optimise workflow.
• Ensure adherence to all logging regulations and safety guidelines.
• Participate in routine inspections of logging sites.
• Assist in training initiatives for new team members and apprentices.
• Contribute to environmental conservation efforts during logging operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in forestry or heavy machinery operation is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience operating heavy machinery in forestry or similar environments
