Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Prototype Fabricator, where your skills will contribute to the development of innovative prototypes. You will interpret technical drawings, use a range of tools and machinery, and collaborate with engineers to enhance product designs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse design specifications and iterate on prototypes based on user feedback.
• Utilise CAD software for prototype design and development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project alignment.
• Support the development of new fabrication techniques and processes.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and maintain quality assurance.
• Train and mentor junior fabricators in best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports on fabrication timelines and project outcomes.
• Contribute to a team-oriented and positive working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in prototype fabrication or related area

Technical Skills

• 3D Printing
• Material Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Time Management

Advantageous

• Proficiency in 3D modelling software: Experience with software such as SolidWorks or SketchUp.
