Job Description

As a Clinical and Counseling Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality therapy to individuals facing personal and emotional challenges. You will work closely with clients to develop insight and coping strategies tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions to tailor treatment approaches for individual clients.
  • Offer guidance and coping strategies to those struggling with personal issues, including emotional distress.
  • Create a welcoming and confidential space for open discussions about mental health challenges.
  • Employ evidence-based therapies to engage clients in exploring their thoughts and behaviors.
  • Regularly assess and document client progress to inform treatment adjustments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Keep thorough and secure documentation of all client interactions per confidentiality standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
  • Work with diverse client populations, adapting therapeutic approaches as necessary.
  • Run workshops and community outreach programs focused on mental wellness.

Requirements

Education
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or similar
  • Further qualifications in specialized therapeutic practices are advantageous.
Experience
  • Experience with group therapy sessions and working with diverse populations is preferred.
