Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Glasgow team. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and enhancing user experience. The right candidate will ensure that our IT systems run smoothly and assist employees with their technical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Address and resolve IT support tickets with a focus on user satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine checks on IT infrastructure to ensure functionality.
  • Provide guidance and support on IT policies and procedures.
  • Assist with hardware installations and upgrades.
  • Work closely with the IT team to improve existing processes.
  • Perform regular backups and data recovery tasks.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Support remote employees with IT-related queries.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relevant IT certifications preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support
