Job Description

As a Library Technician, you will be an integral part of our team in Sheffield, responsible for managing library resources and assisting users in accessing information effectively. Responsibilities

• Coordinate library events and workshops for students and faculty.
• Assist with marketing library services through social media and newsletters.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on library database systems.
• Train new staff on library procedures and systems.
• Provide support during library orientation sessions for new students.
• Engage with community partners to expand library outreach.
• Monitor library usage and recommend improvements based on feedback.
• Assist in budget management for library resources and programs.

Requirements

Education

• Higher National Diploma in Library and Information Management
• Additional qualifications in education are advantageous

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in educational institutions
