Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated pharmacist to join our community pharmacy team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and ensure the safe use of medications.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret medication orders from prescribers.
  • Provide drug information and recommendations to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the appropriate use of medications in patient care.
  • Engage in quality improvement activities within the pharmacy.
  • Create and update patient medication profiles.
  • Participate in pharmacy staff training and mentoring.
  • Respond to pharmacy-related inquiries from patients and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of pharmacy services.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field
Experience
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
