Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee our procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, negotiating with vendors, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies that align with our business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships to enhance cost efficiencies.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Implement robust inventory management systems to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers on pricing and terms.
  • Work with departments to forecasttheir purchasing needs and align with procurement strategies.
  • Evaluate and report on supplier performance metrics.
  • Engage with stakeholders to refine and streamline procurement processes.
  • Manage contract renewals and vendor agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
  • CIPS certification preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
