As a Material Handling Equipment Longshoreman, you will play a key role in our operations. You'll operate and maintain equipment used for loading and unloading cargo from ships, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Utilise equipment for loading/unloading cargo efficiently and safely.
Conduct pre-operational checks on material handling equipment.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimise cargo flow and handling.
Document and report any equipment malfunction or safety hazards.
Support training of new staff on equipment operation and safety.
Requirements
Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience
1-2 years of experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse or port environment.
