Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operators

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operators to operate and maintain rollers for various construction projects. You will work closely with a skilled team to ensure all works are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of paving equipment.
• Perform safety checks and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Monitor the quality of work performed and make adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain records of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss progress and safety concerns.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in operating rollers in a construction environment is essential.

Certifications

• Valid UK driving licence

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with other heavy machinery: Familiarity with operating bulldozers or excavators is a plus.
