Commercial Carpenter

Job Description

As a Commercial Carpenter, you'll be tasked with constructing and repairing the structural frameworks in various commercial buildings. You will leverage your skills in working with wood, metal, and other materials while ensuring everything is up to standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and installation of structural frameworks.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes and regulations.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to manage project timelines.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in assessing project material needs and costs.
• Train new carpenters in company practices and safety procedures.
• Utilize CAD software to modify blueprints as required.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a relevant vocational training
• Additional certifications in specialized carpentry techniques are a plus

Experience

• Experience on large-scale commercial construction projects will be advantageous
