Responsibilities

• Execute pattern cutting with great attention to detail.
• Assess fabric quality and suitability for various garment types.
• Work directly with the production team to forecast fabric needs and adjust cutting plans accordingly.
• Utilize cutting equipment such as industrial cutting machines effectively.
• Ensure patterns are interpreted and followed accurately to avoid wastage.
• Implement and uphold safety standards across the cutting room.
• Enhance workflow by providing feedback and suggest improvements to cutting processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in fashion design or garment technology is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

Advantageous
