Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Nottingham team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and experience in product development. You will be involved in creating innovative solutions and optimising existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative mechanical designs and prototypes.
• Support manufacturing in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
• Create specifications for materials and components.
• Utilize computational tools for simulations and analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the training of junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering

Technical Skills

• CAD Software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Mechanical Systems Design
• MATLAB

Languages

• English: Fluent
