Job Description

As a Production Manager in Sheffield, you will lead our manufacturing team, focusing on implementing production strategies that enhance efficiency and quality. Key responsibilities include overseeing production schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. We're looking for a hands-on leader who can motivate their team and engage in problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production schedule and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and troubleshooting on production issues.
  • Maintain strong communication with team members to ensure goals are met.
  • Implement best practices and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss production statuses and issues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Mentor and coach production team members to develop skills.
  • Manage production budgets, costs, and forecasts.
  • Ensure workplace organization and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
