Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Bristol team. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The successful candidate will have a solid grasp of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Review and enhance internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Assist with the development of financial strategies and operational efficiencies.
• Provide support during budget preparation and financial planning activities.
• Identify discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues promptly.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with accounting standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, including managerial roles

• Advanced Excel Skills
• Budgeting and Forecasting

Certifications

• CPA (Chartered Public Accountant) designation preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
