The Gear Setter will be responsible for setting up and maintaining machinery used in the production of gears. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and precision in order to ensure efficient and effective production.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers to design and optimise manufacturing processes
Conduct trials on new machinery or materials
Train junior operators on safe operation and maintenance practices
Monitor production schedules and report variances
Ensure adherence to ISO quality standards
Requirements
Education
A Level 3 apprenticeship in engineering or equivalent qualification
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
