Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Fashion Buyer to join our thriving team in London. You will play a pivotal role in sourcing and selecting merchandise, negotiating with suppliers, and staying ahead of fashion trends to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify the latest trends in fashion.
• Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers effectively.
• Plan merchandise assortments to maximise sales and profitability.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to create promotional strategies.
• Engage with suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Assess inventory turnover rates and provide recommendations.
• Participate in product development meetings with design teams.
• Attend fashion shows to gain insight into upcoming trends.
• Prepare and analyse sales reports to inform future buying decisions.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements in purchasing practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing within the fashion industry
