Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of drill rigs to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate drill rigs in a manner that maximizes efficiency while maintaining safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement best practices in drilling methodology and equipment usage.
• Report directly to the Mining Supervisor regarding project progress and potential issues.
• Maintain equipment by performing repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Stay updated on industry developments and integrate new technologies into drilling processes.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of safety and operational standards.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Underground Mining or equivalent experience
• Advanced Mining Technology courses are a plus.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in underground drilling operations or related field
