Job Description

As a Mud Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of mud plant equipment, ensuring the efficient preparation and management of drilling fluids. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to work effectively within a team to support drilling activities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operations of the mud plant and manage the mud properties adjusting them as per drilling needs.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance schedules are adhered to, minimizing downtime.
  • Provide technical support during drilling operations, responding to technical inquiries.
  • Perform routine audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the safe handling and storage of drilling fluids and chemicals.
  • Maintain accurate records of plant activities and prepare reports for management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and workflow.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training or additional certifications in related fields.
Experience
  • Prior experience in oil and gas operations or related fields.

Languages
  • English: Fluent
