Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Driller's Assistant to support our drilling team in various tasks including drilling operations and equipment maintenance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safety protocols and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the drilling team to prepare for drilling operations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues with drilling equipment.
  • Perform quality checks on drilling processes.
  • Coordinate effectively with other team members to enhance workflow.
  • Engage in continuous learning and improvement of drilling techniques.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding health and safety.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and discussions about operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in drilling or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Basic knowledge of drilling equipment
  • Data collection and analysis
Soft Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Adaptability
Certifications
  • Welding or fabrication certifications (preferred but not required)
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with hydraulic systems: Knowledge of hydraulic systems used in drilling equipment.
  • Welding or fabrication skills: Experience in welding or metalwork could be beneficial.
