Band Shover

Job Description

We are looking for a Band Shover to join our manufacturing team in Birmingham. This role involves pushing bands of materials through machinery to ensure smooth and consistent production processes. The successful candidate will be integral in maintaining operational efficiency and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate conveyor systems for transporting materials.
• Check the quality of materials being processed.
• Identify safety hazards and report to management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new staff on machinery operation.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production targets.
• Perform basic machine upkeep.
• Collect and record production data.
• Provide support in other areas as needed.
• Assist with inventory checks.
