Job Description

We are looking for a Food Scientist to join our innovative team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will conduct research on food quality, develop new food products, and implement food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design experiments to evaluate food quality and performance.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to understand consumer preferences.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory protocols and quality control measures.
  • Present research findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in industry conferences and workshops.
  • Mentor junior scientists and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field
  • PhD in Food Science or related field is a plus

  • 5+ years in food product development and research
